I recently bought this product for a trip to Florida. It had cheap straps to attach it, so additional straps are needed. It happened to rain during our drive, upon our arrival in Florida it was like a kiddie pool filled with water! Everything got soaked, not just damp. The plastic had already started to wear to the point that there were holes in the carrier. I would not recommend this product and it is being returned!
I purchaser one of these for a trip to Florida. I drove from NJ to VA to take the Auto Train to FL, so all told, it got 5 hours of use, tops. When I got to FL, I discovered quite a number of holes in the carrier and it has leaked significantly. It's a great idea, but it seems that they might be cutting corners on materials.
Sadly, I cannot recommend this product.
